At a historic location, a new building adjoins the old side wing and combines tradition with modern five-star philosophy. Projects like the Maison Messmer require a lot of historical understanding and sensitivity to the spirit of the house and its surroundings. A design concept for such a house can only be successful if you can combine contemporary needs and the tradition of the house. This made the task so exciting: to create a new harmonic unity from two different elements.
