Smart entrepreneurship and courage
Praise from the Vice President of the Chamber of Crafts for the Bachhuber joinery on the company’s 60th anniversary
With representatives of the profession, local politicians, business partners, the neighborhood and a large number of interested visitors, the Rudolf Bachhuber joinery in Gewerbering 9 celebrated its “Open Day” on Friday afternoon on the occasion of the company’s 60th anniversary.
The craftsman’s business, which furnishes top hotels throughout Europe and beyond in association with the hotel general contractor Bachhuber Contract in Bad Birnbach (PNP reported), gave
a look behind the scenes of the modern carpentry workshop and the adjoining upholstery shop.
The two managing directors, Sebastian Seidl and Rudolf Bachhuber, referred to the beginnings with traditional carpentry, the reorientation of the business model towards becoming a competent partner of renowned hotel groups in the construction of new luxury hotels and the complete renovation of existing hotels.
Bachhuber, himself a trained carpenter, used the festive setting to make a clear commitment to the craft, which for him “continues to have a golden foundation”.
Kathrin Zellner, Vice President of the Lower Bavaria-Upper Palatinate Chamber of Crafts (HWK), praised the Bachhuber family for their “clever entrepreneurship and courage”.
The company’s success story is the result of consistent, quality-conscious work over 60 years.
There is “no question in my mind” that this success will continue, affirmed the HWK Vice President at the presentation of the silver medal.
Hans Meyer, Head of Business Development at the Lower Bavarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, described the joinery in Pocking and the “think tank” in Bad Birnbach as a “model company” and “ambassador for the whole of Lower Bavaria”.
Deputy Councillor Cornelia Wasner-Sommer expressed her pride “to have such a company here”.
3rd Mayor Rudi Grömer expressed the hope that a suitable plot of land could be found in the Pocking urban area for the planned new furniture production facility.
