Bachhuber celebrates anniversary with open day – company perfectly located in rural Bad Birnbach
The company Bachhuber Hoteleinrichtungen combines pretty much everything that Bad Birnbach has to offer: Traditional craftsmanship, tourism, services and the hotel industry, high-tech, especially with regard to energy-efficient solutions and state-of-the-art architecture.
It has been 60 years since the unforgettable Rudolf Bachhuber Sr. founded the company – a fact that has now been duly celebrated at both locations – in Pocking and at the headquarters in Bad Birnbach.
Many guests, neighbors, business partners and vacation guests took the opportunity to visit the still young company building in Hofmark on the open day.
Mayor Dagmar Feicht and Managing Director Kurt Tweraser were also on hand to hear company boss Rudolf Bachhuber explain the details.
As soon as you enter the building, you feel like you are in a hotel lobby.
It has an international flair.
Above the “lounge”, a cascading structure on the ceiling catches the eye.
There is no doubt that this is also about light, but it is about much more: it is about sound insulation.
The house is highly insulated.
Electricity comes from the roof, which is entirely photovoltaic.
Three air heat pumps ensure maximum efficiency when heating and are barely noticeable in view of the sound insulation.
The building also has a ventilation system.
Everything is bus-controlled and coordinated.
A new type of air conditioning unit was also installed.
Advantage: The system is extremely low-maintenance, which should be of great interest to future building owners.
There was also unanimous agreement that the new building would be an enrichment for Hofmark and the entire town, and that the company would fit perfectly into the rural spa for the reasons already mentioned.
Under the direction of Rudolf Bachhuber, the son of the founder, the company has increasingly established itself in the areas of hotel extension and hotel development since the end of the 1980s.

Bachhuber Contract and joinery celebrate their 60th anniversary.
In 60 years, a carpentry workshop in the countryside has matured into a highly respected company in the hotel industry that refines luxury hotels in Europe with design “conceived and made in Rottal”.
Founded in 1962 by Rudolf Bachhuber Sr. in Bleichenbacher Weg in the then tranquil market town of Birnbach, the company has grown over the decades to become a major player in the hotel expansion and development sector.
Tomorrow, Friday, the sister companies BachhuberContract (Bad Birnbach) and Schreinerei Rudolf Bachhuber (Pocking) will be celebrating their 60th anniversary – with an “Open Day” at their respective locations in Bad Birnbacher Hofmark 6 and Pockinger Gewerbering 9.

Rudolf Bachhuber Jr. (57), son of the company founder, proudly refers to his father’s innovative thinking in the 1960s and 1970s, which laid the foundation for a success story that he has been able to continue since 1989.
The joinery in Pocking, which was taken over in 1989, has also played a major role in the company’s long-term positioning as a reliable partner for global hotel groups.
