Project Management Purchasing (f/m/d) in Bad Birnbach

YOUR TASKS:

  • Procurement of raw materials, consumables and supplies as well as subcontractor services, in Germany and abroad, from the search for suppliers to the conclusion of the contract

  • Supplier management: building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure optimal conditions and quality

  • Review of contract documents (plans, expert opinions, etc.) for completeness, economic optimization and alternative solutions and preparation of meaningful service specifications

  • Examination and evaluation of incoming offers from a technical and commercial point of view and compilation of all necessary tender documents

  • Conducting contract award discussions with the subcontractors and commissioning the trades

  • Permanent supplier control (costs, quality, reliability, competitiveness, added value) and maintenance of strategic partnerships

  • Development, coordination and monitoring of the contract management system

  • Project cost controlling and accounting, checking guarantees and retentions

  • Invoice verification of installation partners and subcontractors

  • Comparison with site managers/foremen/project managers, if necessary on site

  • Verification of contract-compliant invoicing of construction services (VOB/C), target/actual comparison for lump-sum orders

PREREQUISITES:

  • Successfully completed commercial training with a high level of technical interest, alternatively master carpenter, wood or construction technician, commercially and legally (VOB) very well versed

  • Interdisciplinary expertise, good knowledge of English, VOB, Auto CAD and MS Office

  • (Experience with relevant construction software an advantage)

  • High service orientation, strong communication skills, confident demeanor and willingness to travel

  • Independent, customer- and business-oriented thinking and acting and a structured, goal-oriented and independent way of working

  • Desirable: several years of purchasing experience from an internationally operating company in a technical environment (preferably in the wood/furniture or construction industry)
