Built in 1858 at the request of King Maximilian II, this grand hotel underwent an extensive renovation. the entire public area has been fitted with new furniture, lighting, draperies and rugs. Since then, the atmosphere of the rooms has been outshone by mahogany-warm and brassy elegance.
